Historische Mythen – typologische Zugriffe und Vorschläge für den Geschichtsunterricht

Agreeing or not, myths are an integral part of historical consciousness. Previous approaches on the part of historical theory, which attempt to grasp the myth with models of narrativity, do not recognize the fact that the manifold phenomenon of myth is not bound to any particular form. The present paper collects and presents aspects of philosophical, linguistic, cultural and religious scholarly discourses and tries to lay the foundations for a systematic approach to the didactics of history. On this basis, theoretical and practical suggestions for school history lessons are proposed.
